My paradise on earth

My garden is over a dozen years old, there have always been fruit trees and vegetables there, but there were relatively few flowers. Therefore, for the past 3 years, I have been transforming it into a more decorative and relaxing place. Thanks to the garden, I can develop my passion which is photography. I love spending time outdoors, here I can gather my thoughts and calm down. There is still a lot to do in it, but I have a head full of ideas and I hope to make them all come true :).

Due to the lack of financial resources, our place is set up gradually, some of the plants have been purchased, and some have been given as a gift. As you can see, our effort has paid off :-).

My Japanese-style garden

My garden covers an area of over 1,300 square meters. In 2010, right after the house was built, I was wondering what style to arrange the garden in. I read many gardening magazines and re-examined the specialist literature on various garden styles. I liked Japanese gardens the most, they became a strong source of inspiration for me. I really like what is exotic, original and extraordinary. Japanese gardens have a kind of mystery. I have also seen such gardens behind.

My oasis of peace and joy is my lot ..

On my plot I have everything that brings me the joy of life. But for sure the best place where I love to rest is a pond with a lot of plants and red crucians, my pets. Plants have always been with us. They can be found everywhere; on snow-capped mountainsides, at the bottom of the ocean and in arid deserts. They are an integral part of our world. Without them, life would be impossible - thanks to them we breathe and heal our diseases. Their saving power is both for our body.

Forest corner (Perfect Gardener competition 2022-2023)

Our garden is located near the Tricity Landscape Park. The proximity of the forest makes it visited by wild animals: deer, badgers, raccoon dogs. In winter, we feed numerous birds, and in summer, we hang nesting boxes for them and set up drinkers. This year, in one of the booths, the parents had as many as seven small tits in one brood. We hang the insect houses we have made on the trees. Sand lizards live in the rockery. In the shady part of the garden we meet frogs and toads.

Blooming

Isn't that a beautiful sight. It pleases the eye and inspires positively to work in such a garden :) My adventure with the garden began four years ago and I did not expect such quick results of my work. I am happy to go out to the garden. It is thanks to him that I derive new ideas that I later use here. It is just relaxation, I do not need to go on vacation :).

Flowers on the RODOS (family allotment gardens fenced with a net)

The photos show plants that grow in the allotment garden. They repay the loving care of the whole family with their beauty and beautiful flowering !;) The whole family takes care of the garden together. It is a pity that the photos do not reflect the smell of lilac or dyptam! that they do not show the constant movement in the garden - wandering ants, foraging aphids and family recreation.

The land of flowers and insects

When I look at my garden from the perspective of the years, I see changes from a typical rural landscape to a garden full of flowers, colors and animals. In spring, trees, shrubs and flowers grow there, which is why it is very colorful, while in winter you can see frosty plants. On the left side, you can see at first glance the colorful edges that are planted with different plants every year, but the most eye-catching pond is the pond. On the right you can see a small gardener's house, next to it there is a nook and cranny at the same time.

AUTUMN DECORATIONS AND ARRANGEMENTS I invite you to see my autumn gallery in the garden, on the balcony and in my apartment. This year autumn does not spoil us. It quickly got cold, it often rains to disperse the darkness a bit, I prepared autumn decorations that bring a touch of color to our garden, balcony, house. Autumn leaves, chestnuts and mountain ash have so many beautiful colors and forms that it is a pity not to use them in autumn decorations. Candlelight is also a great highlight for u.

Ripe garden

Our garden is large and mature. It has 10 600 m2. Only half of the plants in our garden are bought, the rest of the plants are multiplied by us or unwanted by others. There is also a large group that appeared in the garden by itself. An example of this are, for example, mossy birches that sowed by themselves in the wet part of the garden, and our native orchids - mud borides. We also allow some weeds to grow, because they are, for example, beautiful, useful or edible - e.g. melilot, sorrel, nettles, garlic and many others.

The colors of my garden

In my photo gallery I posted photos of my sister, who has her own garden behind Skierniewice. She escaped to the countryside to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city and start a more peaceful life. She bought an old house, a piece of land on which she is now building a new home for herself and her children. Their whole life in spring, summer and warm autumn is carried out in the shade of a GREAT pear tree, at a barbecue.
