Ripe garden

Table of contents

Our garden is large and mature. It has 10 600 m2. Only half of the plants in our garden are bought, the rest of the plants are multiplied by us or unwanted by others. There is also a large group that appeared in the garden by itself. An example of this are, for example, mossy birches that sowed by themselves in the wet part of the garden, and our native orchids - mud borides. We also allow some weeds to grow because they are e.g. beautiful, useful or edible - e.g. melilot, sorrel, nettles, garlic and many others. Our garden is colorful at any time of the year, but we love it the most in the fall. We love him then for the colorful leaves of trees, perennials, blades of grass and the fruit he gives us. We spend all our free time in the garden, we work and rest here. Here we teach grandchildren to recognize plants, we tell them what is edible and what is poisonous, they learn about prickly, stinging and allergenic plants. Our garden, apart from a place for an orchard, a blueberry, a rose, flower beds and a forest, has also found a place for collections. We collect Polish plant varieties, mainly historical but also modern ones. We would like to collect all the existing varieties bred by Feliks Rożyński in Szkółki Hr. Andrzej Zamojski in Podzamcze. Our garden is our life, he alth and our passion. Ewa Huet-Maćkowiak
