In flower shops, we can meetmany varieties of roślichy , whose leaves delight with various shades of green, pink and brown. Many of them form leaves decorated with a bright drawing. Themost interesting varieties of syngoniuminclude:
Zroślicha 'Imperial White'- a variety with leaves with a marbled white pattern
Zroślicha stopowcowa 'Maria'- variety with dark red, almost brown leaves
Zroślicha Stopowcowa 'Berry Allusion'- a variety with light green leaves with pink veins in the central part of the leaf blade
Zroślicha stopowcowa 'Arrow'- variety with dark green leaves with white veins
Zroślicha stopowcowa 'Neon Robusta'- rose-leaf variety
Zroślicha Stopowcowa 'Roxana'- a variety with light green leaves with pink discoloration
Zroślicha 'White Butterfly'- variety with green leaves with cream discoloration

Zroślicha stopowcowa 'Albolineatum'- variety with light green leaves with white discoloration
Zroślicha stopowcowa 'Tricolor'- a variety whose leaves are in a mixture of three colors - dark green, light green and cream color
Zroślicha stopowcowa 'Pixie'- dwarf variety, compact, characterized by small leaves
Zroślicha does not like full sunDirect contact with the rays of the midday sun can burn leaves. On the other hand, Zroślicha perfectly tolerates semi-shaded and even shaded places, especially varieties with dark green leaves. Conjoined varieties with colorful and variegated leaves , however, it is better to grow in places with diffused light. The bright position guarantees a nice coloring of the leaves and the formation of a characteristic drawing on the leaf blade. In shady places they will not be so attractive. Still, they should be protected from the harsh sun.
Syngonium has high temperature requirements. The optimaltemperature for growingtwigs is in the range of 18-24 ° C, up to a maximum of 27 ° C in summer. In winter, the temperature should not fall below 15 ° C.
Zroślicha does not tolerate dry airUnder such conditions, the leaves of the plant turn brown and become brittle. To improve growing conditions, it is recommended to sprinkle the syngonium with soft and warm water every day in summer and during the heating period. To ensure adequate air humidity, you can also place the pot with the droop into a larger vessel filled with constantly moist peat, or place it on a base with a diameter twice as large as the pot, filled with water and stones.
The stopworm requires abundant wateringIn summer it should be done 2-3 times a week, while in winter a little less - once a week. Before watering, check the substrate moisture level to prevent root rot from developing. Before the next watering, the substrate should dry to a depth of 1-2 cm. It is necessary to avoid complete drying of the substrate, as it causes yellowing and dying of the leaves.Zroślichę should be watered with standing water at room temperature

Zroślichę is transplanted in springwhen the root ball completely fills the pot. The substrate for growing syngonium should be permeable and slightly acidic (pH 5.5-6.5). It is recommended to mix clay soil with peat in a ratio of 1: 1, supplemented with composted bark.
Zroślicha looks beautiful when grown in suspended containersIt can also be carried along supports (e.g. coconut stakes). After several years of cultivation, the plant loses its attractive appearance. You can then trim it to a height of about 20 cm. Then it will sprout new shoots and obtain a dense, compact habit.
Zroślicha is an easy plant to grow and is rarely attacked by diseases. The most commonproblem in the cultivation of syngonium is browning and drying of the leavesIt is caused by too dry air in the apartment. The solution is to regularly sprinkle the plant and constantly increase the air humidity.
Excessive watering of conjoined leaves promotes the development of bacterial leaf blotchThis syngonium disease is caused by a variety of bacteria and manifests as initially fine and watery spots on the leaves that quickly grow in size and turn brown. Infected leaves and entire shoots die.Foliage spots may also have a fungal basis. The symptoms of these two diseases are very similar. In order to combat faint leaf blotch, all diseased leaves must be removed, the plant transplanted to a fresh substrate and sprayed with Biosept Active.
Zroślicha is attacked by mealybugsThese are white-pink insects that feed on the underside of the leaves and in the axils of the stems and produce a characteristic woolly discharge. Mealybugs must be removed from the plant using a cotton swab soaked in water with denatured alcohol (1: 2 - 100 ml of denatured alcohol and 200 ml of water), and then spray the underside of the leaves and stems with the insecticide Emulpar Spray, Multi Insect or Polysect Hobby. The first two of these preparations are natural remedies that are safe to use in the home. Spraying with Polysect is better after taking the plant outside, for example on a balcony.
