Moreover, in the European Union countries, these products can be legally used in organic farming. Here is a list of the so-called basic substances allowed for use in organic farming, which are worth using in the home garden or on the plot. Their effectiveness has been scientifically proven!

Basic substances areactive substances which, according to the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council of Europe, meet the following 4 conditions:
To put it simply,basic substances are commonly known and safe products , the main purpose of which is not to be used in horticulture or agriculture. Among them there are products commonly used in households or for food purposes that are also worth using in the garden.
They include sugar, table s alt, vinegar, sunflower oil and beer, but also horsetail decoction and nettle slurry. It is worth taking an interest in these substances and trying to use them before going shopping in a garden shop. But it is also worth knowing thatbased on them, we can buy ready-made products for use in the ecological garden
For example, on the basis of nettle, you can buy a ready-made preparation for protecting plants against diseases and pests. Nettle Comprehensive Substral Protection, and on the basis of field horsetail, Evasiol is available, perfect for spraying against apple scab or peach leaf curl. On the basis of lecithin used in the food industry, the Lecitec preparation was created, which perfectly protects plants against attack by pathogenic fungi.
