Like many gardeners, I also prepare my own seedlings every year. I had a long problem with storing them at home. The containers did not fit on the windowsill. So I made a special stand that I recommend to everyone.
The stand is made of metal rods with a diameter of 6 mm. I painted them white to make them look aesthetically pleasing. My design has two levels. I put the containers with seedlings either from the top or from the side. I use plastic trays from dish dryers as coasters. Pots with seedlings placed on them can be watered freely, because the water that leaks from them collects in the grooves.
I always put the stand between the window and the curtain, so it is relatively invisible in the apartment. Thanks to this, young plants also have unlimited access to light (window panes) and heat (radiator).
I have been using this practical stand for growing seedlings for several years. Proper sunlight and constant humidity make the seedlings grow like yeast. And when it's time to harden my structure, it is easy to move to the terrace.
