Materials needed

To prepare a wooden Christmas centerpiece, we need:

  • 10 wooden patches approx. 8 cm in diameter,
  • 10 wooden patches approx. 6 cm in diameter,
  • 3 white candles approx. 9 cm high,
  • 3 pieces of jute approx. 10 cm wide and 20 cm long,
  • Dried oranges, pine cones, cinnamon bark, star anise - for decoration,
  • Hot glue.

How to prepare a base for a Christmas centerpiece made of wood

Arrange wooden slices with a diameter of approx. 8 cm in a circleand connect the sides of the slices with hot glue. In addition, to make the reed more stable, we also stick the joints of the discs. In the places where patches with a diameter of 8 cm are joined, glue smaller patches with a diameter of 6 cm on them.Press the slices firmly against each other, holding for a while, so thatthe glue binds the disc surfaces well

How to decorate a wooden Christmas centerpiece?

Decorating a Christmas centerpiece made of woodstarts with sticking white candles and decorative jute bows to wooden slices. We prepare the bows from a piece of jute, 10 cm wide, folded in half.

Then use hot glueto decorate the wooden headdresswith pine cones, cinnamon bark tied with a jute string of 3 pieces, anise and dried oranges. Finally, we carefully inspect the reed and mask any shortcomings.
