You should always remember to water your plants regularly - not only in hot weather. Their quality in the next season depends on it.
In August, shrubs and trees are already finishing their intensive growth and are beginning to prepare for winter, but it should not be forgotten that in the event of drought they should be watered.Especially remember about watering shrubs that are always green, because they evaporate water throughout the year, so their tissues should be hydrated, which is a precondition for a successful wintering.
Shrubs and trees need the most water in the first year after planting, because their root system is underdeveloped. A symptom of water deficiency in soil is plant wilting on hot days; then we must start watering the plants.
We water in the morning and afternoon using water at 12-16ºC, preferably left standing in tanks or containers. Plants should be watered once every few days, but in large amounts, then the water supply in the soil will increase. Frequent watering in small amounts increases the air humidity as the water evaporates faster but does not reach the roots. When irrigating the lawn, remember that frequent mowing eliminates the transpiration surface of plants and reduces the need for water.
