The main element of eachgrave decorations for November 1is a candle. Currently, there are many different types of candles on the market. They can be made of glass or heat-resistant plastic. Candles can also be open or closed. Glass and plastic are usually closed at the top with a specially perforated aluminum lid. On the other hand, open candles often have a clay base, which is filled with wax.
The size of the candles also varies greatly. We can buy very small candles, several cm high, up to really large ones, which will look beautiful on a massive family tomb. Closed candles are available in various colors (red, green, yellow, and even pink), they can also have many decorations in various colors and shapes. The walls of the torch can be transparent or give the impression of being cracked (the so-called freezing effect).
If you don't mind the lack of natural flame, you can choose battery-operated candles with LEDs as a source of light. These will last much longer than traditional candles. There are also solar candles with LED diodes, but they will not glow forever because winter frosts are usually deadly for the solar cells used in them.Hardly anyone remembers traditional ceramic candles, which have been completely replaced by candles from plastic and glass. However, everything indicates that a return to tradition is approaching. This year, I found a few stands with beautiful hand-made ceramic candles. Unfortunately, they were quite expensive, because they cost as much as PLN 15 for a small candle with a single wick. However, they aroused considerable interest.

The prices of candles are depending on their size and material from which they are made. We will pay several dozen pennies for a small plastic candle, while larger ones will cost up to a dozen zlotys. Candles made of glass are already more expensive and cost from a few to about 30 zlotys depending on the size and degree of decoration. It is worth getting candles in advance in supermarkets, thanks to which we will be able to save a lot of money. The closer to November 1, the higher the prices, especially at cemetery stalls or in flower shops. Therefore, the purchase of candles should not be postponed until the last minute.

Other extremely populardecorations for All Saints' gravesare spruce twigs, i.e. you dress up. It doesn't have to be just spruce, you might as well use fir or pine, although these twigs will be more expensive. Such decorations can be arranged in a vase and streaked with colorful twigs, or, if the grave does not have a tombstone yet, we can cover the bare soil with spruce branches and, for example, put chrysanthemums between the spruce trees.Decorations for graves for November 1made of spruce, fir or pine twigs are very durable and will keep a nice effect for a long time.
Other forms oftomb decoration for All Saintsare various types of reeds made of various materials. In recent years, reeds in the form of wreaths decorated asymmetrically on one side have become very fashionable. The reed bases are usually made of coniferous branches - spruce, thuja or juniper, which are specially twisted around a straw frame and stiffened with a floral wire.On the other hand, asymmetric decorations are made of various decorations, e.g. artificial flowers, bows, dry twigs and various other glitter accessories available in garden centers, florist wholesalers or some flower shops.

Flower bouquets, and in particular bouquets with chrysanthemums, are probably the most populardecorations at All SaintsCurrently, we can choose from a really large number of varieties of chrysanthemums. The flowers can be single or full, small or in the form of huge balls. The colors are extremely rich. Chrysanthemums can be green, white, yellow, golden, purple, maroon, or have different shades of these colors, and cemeteries seem to be drowned in a sea of chrysanthemums.Other equally popular flowers forAll Saints bouquetsare roses. These flowers are a classic in themselves, so it's no wonder that many people prefer All Saints decorations made of only roses with the addition of ruskus or asparagus. Such bouquets look very elegant on tombstones.
Decorations for All Saints' gravescould not do without flowers in pots, and we are talking here primarily about potted chrysanthemums. These flowers look very impressive on the tombstone. Chrysanthemums in a pot are available in various sizes in terms of the whole habit and inflorescences. When going to a flower shop or garden center, we can choose between small-flowered chrysanthemums with a beautiful spherical shape, slightly smaller chrysanthemums with large spherical inflorescences, or choose chrysanthemums with flat, star-shaped inflorescences. In addition to chrysanthemums, it is also worth placing pots with heathers, which look nice at this time of the year and are quite frost-resistant. It is worth knowing that the recently fashionable purple flowers of chrysanthemums and heathers blend in nicely with yellow or white flowers. It is therefore worth making a composition of white and purple heather and chrysanthemums on the grave. It will definitely be the right combination. We can also combine purple and yellow chrysanthemums.
Recentlya very popular floral ornament at All Saintshas become ornamental cabbage, whose interestingly shaped leaves color in the fall. Ornamental cabbages, like chrysanthemums and heathers, are sold in pots, ready to be placed at the grave. Since they tolerate light frosts, they can be a little more permanent decoration than chrysanthemums, but only until the first heavy frost.
