The project aims to promote the idea of urban gardening and the presence of greenery in cities. We realize that Plac Społeczny is not an ideal place to grow food, and that it is an ideal place to promote such activities. This year we start! If the action gains enough popularity, next year we will look for a better location, where the inhabitants of Wrocław will be able to grow vegetables permanently.
The garden is being created as part of a large project of the Foundation for the Support of Alternative and Ecological Cultures in cooperation with Wrocław ECoC 2016 - https: // villageofcultures.pl /!The Village of European Cultures project, implemented as part of the regional program Wrocław ECC 2016, financed by the Erasmus + program of the European Union and private sponsors.Events related to the Village of Cultures will take place on 02.07.2016 to 09.07.2016 - then also by the hands of volunteers a village will be created, the social garden of which will be a part, created by volunteers, which will be a place for workshops and artistic activities.

Ewelina Żygadło from Milejowego Pola - our special guest joined the lecture.
Milejowe Pole is a natural farm located several kilometers from Wrocław, so in the warmest region of Poland. We conduct them with respect for the natural environment, knowing that the quality of a product is related to the conditions in which it grew. Therefore, we do not use artificial fertilizers, chemical plant protection products and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). We are self-sufficient in this matter, because our farm also has animals - happy chickens, horses, cows, pigs, which produce natural fertilizers for us. We take care of Milejowe Pole as our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents did.
We invite landscape architecture, gardening and gardeners as well as all residents of Wrocław interested in urban gardening.
Let&39;s create our own garden!
