" The main title of this year&39;s conference is: The role of light and water in the arrangements of green areas. Water, greenery and light are topics integrally related to each other. Since ancient times, parks and gardens have combined greenery, water and architectural forms. Lighting - initially it was just a game of natural light and shadow. The later introduction of torches, lanterns, oil lamps, and finally electric lighting gave great opportunities to shape garden spaces.Today, it depends on the skills and creativity of the landscape architect and contractor what solutions using water and light will be used in parks and urban landscapes. All kinds of fountains, pools and water courses, as well as light illuminations, ranging from spot lighting of tree specimens to wonderful technologically advanced water and light shows, are examples of arrangement elements. "
Such knowledge will be gained by the participants of the conference, which is addressed to: architects, landscape architects, gardeners, developers, housing cooperatives, managers and contractors of green areas as well as local government officials and representatives of state administration. Academic lecturers and specialists-practitioners from all over Poland will discuss, inter alia, new technologies and innovative solutions in the design of public space, completed projects, current trends in lighting gardens, parks and green squares. Participants will also gain knowledge on how to create lighting for green areas, giving the space an individual character, eluding typical patterns and forms.Participation is free of charge.
