Warsaw Culinary Festival "Plants, Insects and Honey"

On September 8-10, in the magical surroundings of the Botanical Garden of the University of Warsaw, you will not only be able to eat and drink well, but also meet famous chefs, authors of culinary books, and above all take part in numerous workshops, culinary shows, lectures and discussions.

During the Festival on September 9 and 10 you will meet the best Polish food producers, artists and craftsmen.Organizers: Grzegorz Łapanowski from Food Lab Studio and the Szkoła na Widelcu Foundation, the Botanical Garden of the University of Warsaw and Targi WZORY will invite you to an open conference where we will talk about culinary education, organic farming, biodiversity and access to good food.“This festival is a great celebration for food lovers. Numerous culinary, gardening and food design shows and workshops await visitors.In the festival culinary pavilion we will meet, among others withKasia BłażejewskaStuhr, Karolinaand Maciek Szaciłło or Mateusz SzuchnikWe will learn to make cocedams, edible cosmetics, withRoSaliva Tipswe will learn the secrets of home gardening, with specialists from the Botanical Garden we will try wild edible plants and we will learn how to create your composters.

Willing people will be able to take part in a wine tasting with Magazyn Wino or learn from the Trzech Kumpli Brewery how craft beer is made.

Food desgin from the kitchen

During Saturday's FOOD DESIGN FROM KITCHEN panel, we will meet outstanding specialists in the field of Food Design, who will talk about the various faces of food design, and look for answers to the question of what the food of the future will be like. On Saturday,Brand Designwill conduct free consultations for entrepreneurs in the field of brand building based on packaging.

There will also be attractions for the youngest! In the children's zone, there will be cooking workshops with the Szkoła na Widelcu Foundation, ceramic workshops with Szumilas, as well as coloring books, games and animations.

The Garden Area will be filled with stands with delicious food and local speci alties from farmers and small producers.You will also buy beautiful kitchen accessories, ceramics, plants and of course honey from the best apiaries!All thirsty people will be able to drink Grohe Blue water free of charge at the Grohe stand.

At the end of the Festival, the Federation of Polish Food Banks will invite everyone to play and cook to the rhythm of the "EFFECT Soup Disco" music in the Culinary Pavilion.It will be a unique workshop where you will learn how to avoid wasting food.The project is financed by Erasmus Plus.

Side event

On September 9-10, Cinema Muranów will host three screenings of culinary films from theFilms For Foodseries. On Saturday we will see "Root" and "Singhampton Project", and on Sunday "In defense of food".

adults one-day ticket -10 PLN , weekend - PLN 16 ; children up to 6 years old admission free. The ticket price includes most of the event's attractions and a visit to the Botanical Garden of the University of Warsaw with greenhouses.
