The interlocutor isMałgorzata Gazda-Kęsik , Head of the Makreting Department at Rolmarket.
BS:Please introduce the readers to the history of the company, where you come from, how you started, you are a family company, right?
M G-K: That's right, Rolmarket started in 1996 as a small family business trading in fodder and other products for agricultural and livestock production.With time, however, the range of products offered began to expand and include more and more garden products.
In 2007, the decision was made to try their hand at online trading. We started the sale with our appearance on Allegro, and a few months later we founded the Rolmarket.pl online gardening storeIn 2009, the PanFarmerek.pl breeding store was established, and a few months ago, the Podlewanko.pl irrigation shop.
Today, after 20 years on the market, Rolmarket has over 50 employees, several online stores and the Rolmarket Garden Center, located in Cieśly near Płock.

For the second time in a row you have won the first place in the Opineo.pl ranking. What, in your opinion, contribute to this success?
We are proud that for the second time in a row we managed to take the first place in the Opineo ranking, the more that it is implemented by an independent service and fully shaped by consumer opinions. The overall assessment of the store consists of such components as the level of customer service, the speed of order fulfillment, the quality of packaging the shipment and the customer's decision whether he would recommend the store to his friends.
The high position in the Rolmarket.pl store list is, in our opinion, proof that it is worth taking care of customers every day and at every stage of the contract - even before they enter the store and after they receive their shipment.
Therefore, we make sure that customers can contact us in an easy and convenient way, including via chat, telephone, e-mail or social media.Over two years ago, we also introduced a shift work system so that we can be available to customers longer than for the standard 8 hours.So we are now working from 8.00 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
What does this approach result from?
It comes from the belief that it is worth making a constant effort to maximize good customer experiences and minimize the less positive ones.It is important to draw conclusions from unfavorable situations and work diligently to improve the functioning of each department of the store.
Other elements that build the position of Rolmarket.pl are probably also the rich and constantly expanded offer of products for the construction, equipment and care of gardens, the introduced 60-day return period or regularly organized promotional campaigns and other marketing activities, which we undertake.
By the way, it is worth adding that last year, in addition to the first place in the Opineo ranking, we also won the prestigious title of "Good Brand - Quality, Trust, Reputation" in the "Internet garden center" category and we became a finalist of the "Trustworthy Opinions" program ”Run by the Okazje website.info.
How many products can be found in your store's offer? What range of products are in your assortment?
Our assortment currently includes over 9,000 products for the construction, equipment and maintenance of gardens, 95% of which are in our - constantly expanded - warehouses. For years, we have been specializing in the sale of agrotextiles, agrotextiles, mole nets, shade nets, grass seeds, fertilizers and garden edges, but thanks to the fact that we also have garden tools, grills, garden furniture and many other garden products, go ahead you can say that we offer everything you need to create a beautiful garden.Our offer is addressed to both retailers and companies professionally involved in horticulture.
In the Rolmarket.pl store, we do not sell only plants, which, however, can be purchased at our stationary Rolmarket Garden Center in Cieślach near Płock.Currently, our assortment includes 1,300 species and varieties, also collectableWe have a wide selection of flowering perennials and conifers, and we are one of the few that have large specimens of avenue trees, such as maples.You can also find here the so-called solitaire, that is, exceptionally impressive plants that grow in the open.

What are your goals for the future, what are you striving for?
Our main goal is to consistently build the position of the Rolmarket.pl garden store and the entire company. In our opinion, success is the result of constant commitment, constant perseverance and conscientious, often even arduous, work. We are trying, step by step, to deepen the trust of current customers in the store, look for attractive forms of reaching new customers and systematically develop all departments of the store.Currently we are also working on its new version and soon Rolmarket.pl will get new functionalities and a fresh look.
In addition, we plan to open more online stores, incl. with grass seeds and decorative articles for interior design and we are at the stage of implementing a professional wholesale platform for companies from the horticulture industry.
Are there any gardeners among you privately?
Our company is located outside the city, and most of the employees live in houses with a garden, so yes, we are almost all gardeners:)
I think, however, that even if we talk about gardening as a passion, not a duty, most of us will still fit this definition.
