Plants for flower boxes

Table of contents

Hanging flower boxes are a good solution for balconies and terraces, but the basis of a successful decoration is the right plants: necessarily with overhanging shoots. See which ones to choose!

Flower boxes go where there is no place for classic pots: on the railings of balconies, terraces, summer gardens, and even bridge railings. Such specific decorations, however, require appropriate plants that, as they grow larger, cover the container and create the impression of a flowering curtain.

Flower boxes made of polyethylene with low weight and high strength are the best solution. Unlike wooden or ceramic containers, they are not susceptible to mechanical damage and their installation is easier and more reliable. Their advantage is also due to easier cleaning and the presence of a double bottom, which guarantees the best conditions for plants.
