Determinants of the French style

I have arranged my garden in a French style, which is characterized, among others, by evenly trimmed and formed trees and shrubs. The symmetry of plantings is also important, as well as the designation of the main, fairly wide alleys leading to the house, gazebo or lounge area.

Boxwood Forming
I like to travel and bring home various gardening ideas. One of them was the geometrical shaping of box trees, cypresses, thuja, yews and junipers. It is not an easy task. My husband usually takes care of privet hedges, cypresses and thujas, and I trim the low box trees. All you need is well-sharpened scissors and a lot of commitment! You can also use string to mark the cut line evenly. The beauty of the evergreen shrub labyrinths is highlighted by colorful perennials that bloom profusely from early spring to late fall. My mother helps me choose them.
