"When the chemicals did not work, I fought the nun with natural methods" - Krystyna Jakubowska.
I think every gardener has more or less unpleasant experiences with dandelions. This nuisance weed spreads across the lawn and flower beds in no time. While it is relatively easy to eradicate it in flowerbeds, it is worse for the lawn. The dandelion on the grassland is a real nuisance.Over the years, however, I have worked out a few ways to limit his height.
In order to get rid of the dandelion from the lawn, I initially used - at the urging of a saleswoman from a garden shop - chemicals. They were the so-called selective herbicides to control dicotyledonous plants, that is, all but monocot grass. I sprayed the places where the milk grew with these preparations.
Although I got rid of the unwanted weed, I also destroyed the clover and daisies, the presence of which on the grass did not bother meBesides, such blanks after the dandelion required sowing grass. It was quite bothersome, so I started looking for other methods to get rid of the milk.

I've read a bit about this plant. I learned that its young leaves are very he althy and that it is possible to successfully prepare he althy and tasty salads from them.So I decided to limit the presence of dandelion on the lawn in a natural way.Young leaves were torn for food and the roots were removed by hand. I use the forks for this purpose.
Thanks to them I not only pull out the weed, but also aerate the turf.In addition, for several seasons I have been trying to cut the lawn to a height of about 4 cm.I have read that low mowing hinders vegetation dandelion.
Of course, dandelions appear on my lawn every year. These are single specimens, however, which I immediately… eat.
