Decorative garden in February

Table of contents

Remove diseased tubers from storage. We review stored dahlia carp, gladioli tubers, crocosmia tubers, begonias, gallonia bulbs, hymenoptera and other plants. We remove those infected by diseases or damaged. We check the condition of winter coats. Do not rush to remove the winter cover of perennials. Remember that February is a very dangerous month for many species of perennials and shrubs, because often frosty winds combined with more intense sun cause permanent damage to plants. It happens that plants die in the early spring, which have not been affected by even greater frost before. If the perennials were covered with a tuna, its condition should be checked, as it may turn out that it will be necessary to add a few twigs to protect the plants from the harsher sun.

Planting plan. We prepare a plan of planting in flower beds and flower beds. Plants are selected in such a way as to maintain the continuity of flowering throughout the growing season and to harmonize them with the already growing plant species. We are planning shopping. It is worth drawing up a purchase plan for seeds, plants, fertilizers, plant protection chemicals and garden tools.
