In Warsaw, on the premises of the Central Agricultural Library from May 24 to June 5 this year. you could see unique show gardens, photo exhibitions, as well as take part in lectures and workshops. All as part of the Festival of Garden Inspirations.
The event was organized by the National Association of Garden Creators (OSTO) in cooperation with the Central Agricultural Library in Warsaw.Exhibitę was visited by over 4 thousand. people, and the lectures and workshops were attended by nearly 400listeners.The festival was accompanied by a photo exhibition prepared in cooperation with the Trojanów Arboretum, which showed the beauty of grasses in the garden at any time of the year, the authors of photographs former Magda Wasiczek and Joanna Stoga.

"A special exhibition has been created on the library&39;s terrace, consisting of six garden arrangements, each approximately 13 m2 in size. Their creators were garden designers who in the years 2014-2016 were laureates of the Inspirations-Arrangements Competition organized every year during the GARDENIA Fair in Poznań. Three arrangements from this year&39;s edition of the competition and three from previous years were presented at the festival.All the works were given a new, spring image.The garden of this year&39;s winners - the company Ogrody Korzeniewscy from Pleszew - enjoyed great interest. "
Particularly curious were their original seats made of white dogwood, as well as compositions, including one made in a pot made of European larch, which consisted of plants such as heliotrope, spurge, driakiew, fescue , anemone, śniedek, muhlenbeckia and stick insect. The forest-style arrangement created by Różane Ogrody and Flora-Serwis from Łódź, where gates with a water jacket and huge cones were placed, and the green plants gave it a lively, cheerful character.
The arrangement in the romantic style of Green Decor from Lusów and Casa Verde Design from Poznań also enchanted with its charm, you could admire a charming composition of foxglove, ornamental garlic, peony, lily of the valley, ivy and birch. The other gardens turned out to be no less extraordinary: a garden with a large seat and a purple spring above which a mysterious fog was floating, created by Zielony Zakątek from Warsaw, a modern garden with natural elements of small architecture built by the Brothers
Kolanowscy Ogrody z Lodz or the proposal of BS Ogrody z Laskowa - a garden with elements of Persian style, accompanied by lush vegetation, including charming gilding, irreplaceable at this time of the year.

Industry meetings
On the first day of the festival, May 24 this year. Over 70 garden enthusiasts, both specialists and amateurs, took part in the "Garden inspiration arrangements" seminar, where they listened to lectures prepared by the creators of festival arrangements and other garden art specialists.Another industry event was a conference prepared for people professionally involved in establishing gardens and green areas, it was held on June 2 this year, it was attended by over 200 listeners.
Additionally, on the same day, amateur gardeners could, together with the renowned garden designer Agnieszka Hubeny-Żukowska from the Garden Art Studio in Bliziny, design their own garden.As part of the festival events, workshops for children were also organized. "We like wild strawberries", during which the children learned about their structure and prepared the seedlings on their own.The workshop was conducted byrepresentatives of the Ogród Healing initiative, who also prepared a special lecture for seniors, during which they talked about how to live closer to nature in the city.
Although the Festival of Garden Inspirations officially ended on June 5 this year, due to numerous requests and suggestions from many people, the organizers and garden designers decided to leave the three garden arrangements for further exploration.The exhibition of selected arrangements can be viewed until the end of October 2016.
