Department of Horticulture of the University of Life Sciencesin Wrocław and the companyRakoczy Gardensare organizing a conference en titled Modern technologies for green areas, to be held25. November 2016of the year in Wrocław. The aim of the conference is to present the latest technical and scientific solutions used in green architecture, with particular emphasis on their practical application. "
The topics of the 12 lectures will include, inter alia, plant protection in green areas, shrub cutting, soil preparation as well as irrigation and fertilization. One of the panels will be devoted to green roofs.Lectures will be given by scientists from various research centers in Poland and abroad as well as practitioners.
A special speaker will be Professor Manfred Köhler from Hochschule Neubrandenburg, founder of the Green Roof Center of Excellence and author of many publications on green roofs and walls.It will also be an opportunity
to discuss and exchange experiences among specialists.
Companies from the horticultural industry that provide technologies and materials for green areas will also present their products.
The conference will be held at the UP Congress Center in Wrocław in Pawłowice on the outskirts of Wrocław. Guests will have at their disposal, among others cafe and free parking.The Center is located in a historic place with a picturesque park.A great advantage of the Center is convenient access via the A8 motorway or the S8 road.
Fee and registration conditions
The conference fee is PLN 70.00 gross, the cost includes conference materials, lunch and coffee.
