When we were at the supermarket, I fell in love with the beautiful bench in the gardening department. I started to persuade my husband to buy it, because it cost so little, only 700 zlotys … I didn't have to wait long for the reaction. Adaś was indignant and said that our bench is full of nothing and that he himself will bring it to order.He immediately threw the paint into the basket and promised to renew the bench as soon as possible.
Step-by-step renovation of the bench
One May afternoon, with my help, he transported her to a sunny place. First of all, he was cleaning it. Luckily he had a grinder which made the job a lot easier or he would have to use sandpaper. As my husband later explained, sanding is necessary, because the durability of the new paint depends on the thorough removal of the old coating from all surfaces. After sanding, Adam dusted the wood with a brush. Finally he could start painting. For this, he used a special wood enamel that protects and decorates the surface at the same time.
Which brushes to choose for painting?And when it comes to brushes, my husband advises that they should be as soft as possible and preferably made of natural bristles. The very next day we sat down on the renovated bench. Hugging my husband, I thanked him with a kiss for his work.
