SPRING ARRANGEMENTS
It's time for spring compositions of pansies, daisies and forget-me-nots. The seedlings are planted in containers in a fertile substrate with a neutral or slightly acidic reaction.
AFTER THE WINTER SLEEP
Remember to provide the best possible conditions for the development of plants that come to life and are stored indoors for winter. We need to provide their developing new shoots with a higher temperature and as much spring light as possible. We also increase watering and feed the plants.
TURNING TIME
We transplant plants that have grown too much. For transplanting, we choose containers with a diameter of 2 cm larger than those in which the plants grew previously. Pots must have a drainage hole. After taking it out of the pot, the outer layers of the old substrate are removed and the root ball is loosened. Dead or diseased roots should be cut. Before planting, a layer of drainage is placed in a new vessel, followed by a thin layer of substrate. The roots of the plant are sprinkled with the substrate and compacted. Be careful that the roots are not bent upwards, the roots are shortened too long. Sick, dried or yellowed leaves and shoots are also removed. After planting the plant, water it abundantly and place it in a bright and warm place.
