This variety is characterized by high frost resistance, while the resistance to diseases is classified in the medium range. In wet summer it requires preventive spraying against downy mildew. 'Iza Zaliwska' is the only variety whose fruit ripens in the ground on the stepchildren (side shoots) , which is especially important if the bush did not yield on the main shoots, e.g. after frost damage.

The clusters of this variety are usually medium-sized, sometimes large, medium-tight to loose. The peel of the fruit is gray-pink with characteristic lighter spots. The fruit is not very firm, but very tasty with a slight strawberry aroma. They reach maturity in mid-September. Young shrubs start fruiting quickly, bearing fruit regularly and abundantly, even in small forms of the shrub. Reliance is resistant to grapevine fungus diseases and frost resistant. The fruit attracts attention with its taste and pleasant strawberry-fruit aroma.The fruits of this grape variety ripen very early- in the second half of August. Therefore, if we are looking for a grape variety that produces fruit quite fertile and regularly even with a short cut, it is worth taking a look at the 'Suwile' variety, which is also quite resistant to frost and satisfactorily resistant to fungal diseases.
