I have divided my garden into two parts. The front area is planted with bushes and flowers, while the space behind the house is covered with a large lawn. In the middle of the turf there is a swing and a bench next to it. Together, they create a relaxing corner. There are also many fruit trees growing around. It is a real paradise for my great-grandchildren who can play and run there.
In order for the turf to keep looking nice, it is important to properly care for the lawn, i.e. regularly mow and water it. I have a proven method of irrigating grassland, which I will gladly share with the readers of "Recipe for the Garden". You will need an old garden hose for this. It is enough to perforate it along its entire length. The easiest way to do this is to use a hot nail. You can also cut the hose with a secateurs - only carefully, because the holes should not be too large. We place the prepared snake around the grassland. During watering, the water gushing from it evenly irrigates the sun-dried lawn, and instead of standing with a hose in hand, we can rest on a bench at this time.
