When I saw my friend's garden swing, I wanted a similar one. However, I decided not to buy it in a store, but to do it. My father, the handyman, was very helpful. We found some unnecessary wood in the magazine. We bought some boards, a chain, nails and two hooks to fix the seat.
First, we joined the wooden logs crosswise and placed them on the paving tiles so that they were even. Once we had the structure in place, we built the seat and hung it on chains supported by hooks. Finally, we painted the whole with a special wood paint. Thanks to this, the swing looks nice and is protected against weather conditions.Its dimensions are 3 m long and 3 m wide.
We like our swing very much. Our whole family rests on it during the season.
