We live in Sandomierz, a beautiful city known from the series "Father Mateusz". Here we have our home and developed land. In the most charming corner we made a few years agopondSuchsmall ponds in the gardenrequire appropriate care treatments to make them look nice.
In spring, we always replace the foil that lines the bottom. The sides of thepondare lined with concrete slabs that once served as pavement curbs. We put stones of different sizes on these plates. This gave shape to the tank.
In front of thepondwe sprinkle small pebbles. Thanks to this, weeds do not grow in this place. In addition, we also made a belt of stones that remained after the construction of our house.
We plantedwhite water lilyandpinkandcalamusin the pond. We put the seedlings in garbage bags filled with soil mixed with cow manure. Holes are necessary in the bags so that oxygenated water can get there.
To prevent the pond from "blooming" with algae, we use a special Pokon pond agent. It inhibits the growth of algae and guarantees clean and transparent water. One package is enough for 9 cubic meters. We poured one measuring cup each in March, April and July. This preparation, like any chemical agent, must be used according to the instructions. Everything is exactly described there. First of all, you need to determine the degree of acidification of the water in the tank. Special strips attached to the preparation are used for this.We also regularly remove leaves that have fallen into the water or have started to rot. On the left side of the pond, we also have a small rockery and we built a small gazebo made of beams.
