Put the fruit and leaves in a pot, add sugar and cook, covered, for approx.half-hour. Then cool it down for a day. On the second day, strain the fruit from the liquid, add lemon juice and spirit. Mix well and pour into bottles. Thisaronia tincture with cherry leavesis the best when it is aged for a few months, although you can try it after a few days.
Ingredients: 1 kg of chokeberry fruit, 20 grams of green chokeberry leaves, 1 kg of sugar, 0.5 liters of 90% spirit, 0.5 liters of 45% pure vodka, juice and peel from 1 large lemon, approx. 1, 5 liters of spring water.
Put the chokeberry fruit with leaves and lemon zest into an enamel pot, pour water over it and cook over low heat for about 1 hour. Cover and leave for overnight.The next day, strain the liquid thoroughly through double gauze and bring to a boil. Add sugar and stir over low heat until it dissolves. Add lemon juice, spirit and vodka. Cool and pour into bottles. Set aside in a cool place for at least six months.
Ingredients: 1 kg of ripe aronia berries, 0.5 liters of 90% spirit, 0.5 liters of vodka, 1/2 vanilla pod, 4-5 cloves, 0.5 kg of sugar, a piece of cinnamon bark or a pinch of cinnamon, thinly sliced zest of 1 lemon and orange.
Place the fruit in the ridge and knead it lightly. Mix the vanilla, lemon zest and orange with the fruit. Mix the spirit with vodka, pour over the fruit and put everything in a warm place in the sun for at least 1 month. After this time, pour the tincture into another vessel, and sprinkle the fruit with sugar and mix it, shaking the gander vigorously. Set aside again in a warm place, shaking the gander every day until all the sugar is dissolved in the fruit. Pour the syrup through the cheesecloth and add to the tincture. Pour the obtained chokeberry tincture into bottles and set aside. This tincture will achieve its full flavor after several months of aging in a dark and cool place.
