Polish Association for Plant Protection, meeting the needs of farmers, owners of plots and gardens, created the Packaging Collection System, the so-called PSOR system. It allowsto get rid of the empty packaging of a plant protection product , fertilizer or biocidal products free of charge.
The label of each plant protection product informs about the dangers or hazards they may pose, while at the same time indicating on the way of handling the packaging.
As part of the PSOR System , packages for toxic and very toxic plant protection products are collectedfor aquatic organisms or humans and packaging for other hazardous substances used in agriculture, e.g. fertilizers, adjuvants, biocidal products, marked with at least one of the pictograms:

Empty containers of plant protection products can be returned to the point of sale free of charge , which will hand them over to a professional company dealing with waste disposal. It does not have to be the same point where we made the purchase. The packaging can be returned to any store that participates in the PSOR System. There is no need to show a receipt or invoice. Good to know!Shops selling plant protection products are obliged to take back used packaging of plant protection products. This also applies to large-format stores.
