A very interesting idea isforcing the onion for chives in a 5 liter bottle ofmineral water. To prepare such a bottle, first use a marker pen to draw holes, arranging them fairly evenly. Then, with scissors, cut out round holes. Their diameter must be slightly smaller than the circumference of the planted bulbs so that they do not fall out (usually the holes should be 3-4 cm in diameter). We should also remember to make small holes at the bottom of the bottle to allow excess water to drain away. Cut the upper part with the neck of the bottle. Through this hole we will pour soil inside, put the planted onions, and finally we will plant the last onion at the very top.
Place the bottle on a plate or a stand, which will drain excess water after watering. Then fill the bottle with soil to the level of the first holes.
