Gardening ointment should be appliedimmediately after pruning. Before use, mix the ointment to a uniform consistency, and then apply the preparation evenly to the cleansed wound and 2 cm around its edges, using a brush.Gardening ointment can be used all year round , except during frost and rain, because water can damage the freshly applied protective layer.
In the case ofusing garden ointment for grafting plants , wrap the prepared area with foil or bands for grafting and apply ointment thoroughly. It is best to do this immediately after the treatment with a brush or a wooden spatula. The resulting flexible and hard ointment coating is resistant to weather conditions.
