The first way to make fertilizer from baker's yeast is to put 100g (1 cube) of shredded yeast in a bucket, cover it with 1 cup of sugar and leave it for 1-2 hours. After this time, pour the yeast dissolved in sugar with 10 liters of warm water. Mix everything thoroughly and set aside for a week to ferment. After one week, the diluted mixture (1 glass of solution per 10 l of water) is ready for watering the plants.

Unfermented yeast fertilizer
A much simpler way to prepare a yeast fertilizer is to put the shredded yeast cube in a bucket and pour 10 liters of warm water over it. Then mix everything thoroughly and set aside for 1 hour. After this time, the solution is ready for use.
Yeast fertilizer is best used in spring and late summerIt can also be used for watering potted plants. We can also use unfermented yeast solution to speed up composting. Yeast fertilizer has a very good effect on the growth of germinating seedlings, so it is worth watering seedlings with it. It also facilitates the rooting of strawberry cuttings.

How to spray yeast?

To prepare aspraying yeast solution , take 100 g of baker's yeast and dissolve it in 0.5 liters of 3.2% milk, then dilute the solution with 10 liters of water. We can add about 1 tablespoon of liquid gray soap to the solution so that the liquid stays better on the leaves. With the preparation prepared in this way, spray the plants , and the best way is to pour them from the top. We cover both the upper and lower sides of the leaves with the liquid. We perform this procedure regularly once a week, throughout the growing season, especially in cool summers, after several days of rainfall.
Yeast spraying is most commonly usedto protect tomatoes, cucumbers and strawberries from late blight, mildew or gray mold. However, it is worth using it on all plants on the plot and in the garden.
