Autumn garden work with the Fiskars brand - editorial tool test!

Ergo PopUp Fiskars

In autumn, we start work in our garden from raking leaves lying on the lawn or flower beds. We used the Ergo PopUp basket to collect them, thanks to which we were able to quickly sort their remains. Its interesting and thoughtful design allows for quick disassembly by unfastening the two connecting buckles. It is stable through a spiral reinforcement structure. The collected leaves were used as a filling agent for garden compost, which we made from pallets. It is important not to add sick and moldy leaves so as not to introduce fungal diseases into the compost.

The bin is ideal for collecting wet garden waste (e.g. damp leaves), weeds, grass clippings and rubbish. It provides:

• Space-saving - folded to a height of 3 cm.

• Equipped with hooks for quick assembly.

• Made of a material resistant to tearing and mold.

• Easy to clean.

• Folded height: 30 mm, unfolded height: 700 mm.

PX94 Scissor LopperPowerGearX Fiskars

Autumn work is also about pruning. This is the perfect time to remove lignified currant shoots or to care for roses. We cut them to relieve the plant and thin it out so that it can produce new, he althier shoots.

When removing leaves and stems, we usedPX94 scissor one-handed secateursPowerGearX L,which was very secure in hand. Soft and well-shaped SoftGripTM handles made the cut extremely simple and precise. The unique PowerGearTM mechanism makes cutting easier up to 3.5 times compared to a regular mechanism. The blades are another advantage - they are made of very hard stainless steel (CrMoV). The upper surface of the blade has PTFE to reduce friction and achieve maximum efficiency. It is a special coating that has a low coefficient of friction - smooth, fast and trouble-free cutting the first time. Thanks to this solution, we do not burden the muscles of the hand and wrist, which is an incredible advantage. The PTFE coating is very difficult to wet, which additionally protects the blade from rusting.
