Wintering of the araucaria (PiO)

Table of contents

Q:I have an araucaria and I don't know how to care for it, at what temperature should it stay during the winter, when should I replant it?
O:Araucaria heterophylla is the only species of its kind that is suitable for indoor cultivation because it is moderately tall. The plant requires a bright, but not sunny location. In summer, it can be exposed outside to partial shade. In winter, it should be kept in an unheated room where the temperature remains within 5-10˚C.

Watering should be done only with soft water - moderately in summer, hardly in winter. From March, watering and fertilization for rhododendrons are gradually resuming.Frequent sprinkling is very beneficial. The tree is transplanted in early spring to a container a number larger than the one in which it grew previously.Remember to provide drainage for the pot.
