The varieties of the Italian Clematis viticella bloom tirelessly from June to September. Their sumptuous flowers often resemble hybrid clematis. In addition, they have a great advantage: they are resistant to withering - a disease that affects the shoots and leaves of clematis.
Clematis texensis flowers look like bluebells. Some varieties, such as 'Princess Diana' or 'Ginny', have flowers up to 6 cm long. Others' flowers are smaller, but thrive in great numbers under good conditions.For this to be possible, creepers should be provided with a sunny position with fertile soil.
Most varieties of clematis have flowers with romantic colors. Yellow-flowering species stand out against them. The group of golden clematis include, among others Tangutan Clematis Clematis tangutica, Eastern Clematis Clematis orientalis and Tibetan Clematis Clematis tibetana.

Polish clematis growers are world leaders. Some of the varieties shown here have been awarded medals in international competitions. It is worth taking an interest in them, because they are beautiful and develop he althily.
Native clematis for growing in the garden, on the terrace and on the balcony:
1. 'Grunwald' is a variety with dark, purple-violet, velvety flowers. Blooms profusely from mid-June to early August, then a little less until October.
2. 'Beautiful Bride' is a variety with very large white flowers growing from the entire height of the shoot. Blooms profusely from May to July, repeats flowering in summer. It can be grown in containers.
3. 'Viva Polonia' blooms profusely in June and July, reaching 2 m. Due to its compact growth, this variety is very well suited for cultivation in containers.
4. 'Sweet Summer Love' is an intensely and pleasantly fragrant variety with purple flowers. It blooms profusely in summer, and then a little less, but it keeps blooming until autumn.
5. 'Purple Dream' is a variety with always full bell-shaped flowers, lightly but pleasantly smelling of grapefruit. It blooms in May and later in summer.
6. 'Stefan Franczak' is distinguished by nice, intensely blue flowers with a lighter stripe running through the center of the plots. It blooms in June and July.
