It is worth mentioning at the outset that measures taken on their own, too often used, may pose a threat to both protected plants and humans. However, if used rationally, they can complement other non-chemical methods of plant protection in the garden. Therefore, I decided to present a short list of some "preparations" that you can make yourself in the garden.
Remember, however, that such measures are primarily intended to "discourage" insects or pathogens from feeding or infection. At a time of high intensity of the pest or the emergence of disease symptoms, chemical plant protection products should be used, which, when used in accordance with the information contained in the label-instruction of the plant protection product, are safe and - most importantly - effective.
From small, manual, to large containers that can hold up to several liters of water, fertilizer or plant protection chemicals. The choice of sprayers is huge! These tools are irreplaceable not only in professional cultivation orchards, parks and forests, but also in our everyday use: in the backyard garden, on the balcony, terrace or even at home.
Without orchard and garden sprayers, it is difficult to imagine professional application of chemical preparations or fertilizers. These devices can hold up to several liters of fluid and are equipped with lances and durable harnesses to comfortably carry them on your back.
When working, do not forget about the protection of the respiratory system, especially when we dose strong chemicals, and the necessary accessories to facilitate spraying. If we only own the collection on the windowsill, choose a manual sprayer or a small pressure sprayer with which we can safely sprinkle our plants.
