Constant fight with weeds can spoil the charms of spending time on the plot. When setting up a garden, we should think what to do so that its care will not keep us awake at night. I propose the most effective and simplest method for weeds, i.e. lining flower beds and flower beds with thick, black agrotextile. It has the following advantages:
- inhibits the growth of weeds,
- leaks water,
- provides air access,
- accelerates vegetation,
- strengthens the root system of plants.
Black non-woven fabric is relatively inexpensive.Its additional advantage is that it is easy to arrange on any flowerbeds, even those with the most sophisticated shapes. We unfold the material on the ground and trim it properly. Make sure the surface is even, otherwise water will collect in the wells. After unfolding, we strengthen the edges by covering them or digging them into the ground. We cut holes for the planted plants in the right places. On the prepared beds, additionally sprinkle a minimum five-centimeter layer of raw coniferous bark or washed gravel. Lining the bedding with non-woven fabric is the most effective method of getting rid of weeds.
