Holly Ilex aquifolium is an ornamental plant appreciated especially in Europe and North America, which is eagerly used for Christmas decorations. Its cultivation in our country is possible, but mainly in warm regions, because holly in long and cold winters often reacts with freezing.To enjoy its beauty also indoors, let's create an original headdress from it in in the form of a mini-tree.
1. Let's prepare a small, preferably metal cover. At its bottom, let's put a reasonably thick branch. Fill the space between the casing and the branch with soil or conifer bark (it smells beautiful).
2. Put a floristic sponge on the branch (preferably in the shape of a ball). Then let's stick the leaves and fruits of the holly quite densely into it.
3. Spread the moss evenly on top of the bark or soil, and tie a decorative string around the casing. A headdress prepared in this way will beautifully decorate any terrace and even a festive table.
