The heat is still pouring out of the sky, some people go on a long-awaited vacation to distant countries, others enjoy the sun on their plot or in the garden in front of the house. The conditions are favorable: the beds are blooming with all the colors of the rainbow, and there is little work with the plants. It is worth spending this time sweet lazing around.
Time spent in the garden will be sweetened by large-flowered perennials and shrubs. The Syrian hibiscus looks great.Shrubs are available in varieties with flowers, incl. pink, white, blue, purple, yellow. The flowers are funnel-shaped and bloom dozens in sunny weather. Roses join the group of summer wonders. Although for many of them the season is over or is just about to end, there are still many nice surprises ahead of us, especially from bush roses.
The long-blooming 'Rosarium Uetersen' (pink flowers), 'Grandhotel' (red flowers) and 'Westerland' (orange flowers) are worth recommending.These varieties develop best in sunny places.
In shaded places, hydrangea feels great. Its single flowers are small, but gathered in inflorescences, they pretend to be beautiful pompoms or umbrellas that last all summer. Among perennials to shade, only a few bloom in the culminating period of summer. These are i.a. tawułka, parzydło and a bunch of candlestick.
In sunny beds, the first beard irises, eastern poppies and peonies bloom.The second change begins to bloom from mid-July to the end of September.During this period, rudbeckia, split and paniculate flames reign supreme in the reigns.Ostróżka has a short break in August, because the inflorescences cut in July are just bouncing.You can expect that in September they will bloom wonderfully white and blue again and bring a note of freshness to the garden after holidays.
Perennials grow excellently even in very difficult conditions, comparable to the desert ones. In places where the ground is sandy, loose and permeable, and the sun burns relentlessly all day long, Carolingian yucca, Perovian yucca, catnip and tritome bloom. Each of them has an incredible ability to survive in dry conditions.
The parade of summer bedding plants is closed with lilies.These majestic onion perennials mature successfully in a sunny position among low-growing groundcover species that prevent the substrate from drying out.
