We all want ornamental shrubs and conifers to look beautiful. That is why we sprinkle bark, gravel, pebbles or other materials under them, which create an interesting background for them and eliminate weeds.
Alternative to bark and stones
And I encourage you to pour out the free spaces under the conifers with forest cones. They are a beautiful and natural raw material. Collecting them can be fun for the whole family. During a trip to the forest, you can, for example, organize a competition for the largest specimen.Cone carpets are extremely practical and have many advantages:
- cost nothing,
- perfectly replace expensive bark,
- they effectively prevent weed infestation,
- do not require a fleece backing,
- are effective and durable,
- represent the original discount decoration.
In my garden, cones are also an element of small architecture. A plate filled with them or a wicker basket was displayed on the terrace and lawn. This forest decoration enchants each of my guests.
