Guide: plants enclosed in glass

Pots do not have to be the only container for storing plants at home. The Internet is full ofcreative compositionsin which they are replaced by glass jars or vases. In a few simple steps we show you how to prepare one of the many ways to create thisunique decoration


Before starting work, prepare the following items:

How to make a garden in a glass vessel

Step 1: Select cookware

Depending on the place where the final garden will be, the size of the container should be selected. This isthe most important decision- you can use jars as well as large glass vases or vases to create a glass garden.

Regardless of the selected vessel, before starting work on the mini-garden, the glass should be thoroughly washed and dried, and the jars should be scrupulously cleaned of anyleftovers labelsorglue .

Step 2: First layer - drainage

Step 3: Second layer - carbon

Step 4: Third layer - earth

The soilshould be selected specifically for the type of plant we intend to use in the glassvessel to plant . We pour out a fairly large layer so that we can put the plant in it without adding it.

Step 5: Planting the plant

When taking it out of theof the shop floor pot , carefully brush off the soil from the roots. If the roots are too branchy, shorten them to a length that allows them to be covered with already poured soil. Then the plantgently plantas far as possible from the sides of the vessel.

Step 6: Adding Accessories and Watering

Optionally, after planting the plant, the soil can be decorated with, for example, thesame pebbles , which serve as drainage. The last step is watering the plant depending on its requirements. After cleaning the vessel from soil remnants, you will see a readydecorative mini-garden
