I have always been bothered by the fast growingVinifera . As soon as I removed it, it spread again. So the fight was doomed to lose. Finally, I decided to tame it and use a discount to decorate it.
My method was as follows. Instead of lettingcreepergrow freely in one place, I made basket-shaped, heart-shaped wicker forms and supports. I planted them with a plant that wrapped itself beautifully around them, creating interesting shapes. They add a lot of charm to my plot.
I have to admit thatVirginia Creeperlooks fantastic with other plants. However, you have to be vigilant, because it can drown them out. But it has the advantage of being very easy to grow. An additional advantage is that in autumn its leaves turn red beautifully.
