Our garden has been in existence for 10 years. It is quite large - 0.15 ha. We started working on its design from leveling the ground and sowing grass.
From the eastern side we planted four rows of trees: pines, spruces and larches. In this way, we separated a part of the farm yard from the garden. Such a forest is a great cover against strong winds and snowstorms. Wild strawberries and anemones grow in it, and sometimes even butterflies appear. We planted a row of yew, thuja and ornamental spruce near the neighborhood border.
Instead of a wicket, we put a pergola. On it in summer, fragrant milinas bloom. Further, along the cobblestones, a privet hedge turns green. We have a large, covered terrace next to the house. We decorate it with hanging pots with red geraniums.
The corner with a weeping willow tree is the pride of our garden. In the summer, a hammock hangs under it. Nearby, we designed a rockery with creeping plants and lily of the valley, ferns and periwinkle. We usually fill this place with white hyacinths, tulips and pansies, which also grow in old pots or clay barrels. When they fade, we plant red sage and yellow marigolds in their place, which please the eyes until late autumn. I make their seedlings myself in early spring. Then it is enough to quilt them under the agrotextile.
We like to spend our free time in our garden. Together with family and friends, we often have a barbecue and picnic here.
