Together with my husband, we have been cultivating a plot of land since 1999. We have vegetables, herbs, flowers, ornamental and fruit shrubs and conifers on it, which is everything that every average allotment owner has. However, not everyone has such wonders as us! We would like to show off our ideas for decorating the garden. All you need is a little fantasy and will.
It is known that I like flowers like every woman. So I try to plant them wherever I can. For example, in a flowerbed-sailboat. Of course, it was made by my husband, Stanisław, who is a real handyman. First, he made a sketch of the boat on paper, and then cut out the appropriate shape from waterproof plywood. The hull was painted on the outside with a colorless varnish and a mast was made of metal tubes covered with white enamel. When Staś was still "constructing the ship", I sewed a sail from a red nylon and decorated it with white trimmings. We fastened the sailboat to the landing (two round pieces of tree joined together with a board). I lined the middle of the boat with foil so that it would not get wet from excess water. Then I filled with soil and planted various types of flowers, incl. pansies, daisies and hornbeams. The flower boat is enhanced by the lifebuoy that used to be a cat's toy.
Our next patent is hanging pots on a dry tree bough. I planted them mainly with annual flowers - begonias, petunias and geraniums, but also rock plants. To make their appearance more attractive, I made them original casings from old cloth bags. They lay useless for several years. I planted a fern under the branch, which blends in perfectly with the rest of the flowers.
To create original pots on my plot, I also use many other items that people usually throw into the garbage. For example, coconut shells. It turned out that swarms look great in them. I also put coconut baskets on the branch. Plastic washing powder containers can also become flower beds …
