Kuklik Geum flowers amaze with the richness of shapes and colors. Depending on the species and variety, they are large or small, single or full, stiffly facing the sun or slightly suspended, in subtle or bright shades of colors.A charming perennial doesn't need much to feel good in your garden.A sunny or slightly shaded place with slightly moist soil is enough. The longevity of varieties mainly depends on the origin. Viable classical forms of kuklik Geum x heldreichii, e.g.'Sigiswand' or Geum coccineum 'Werner Arends' is enough to excavate and divide every four or five years. Descendants of the South American Geum chiloense, such as the golden yellow 'Lady Stratheden' and the red 'Mrs Bradshaw', should be rejuvenated after just three years. These two popular varieties are also sold under the names 'Goldball' and 'Feuerball'. Some puppets are more viable.

The old Dutch variety 'Prinses Juliana' can grow up to ten years in the same place, delighting with bright orange flowers every year.Generally, rejuvenation time comes when empty spaces appear in the center of the clump.

The majority of varieties flower in full bloom between May and June, the early ones bloom most profusely in April, and the late ones even in August. Some puppets are proud not only of flowers. The Geum triflorum three-flowered mite develops fluffy seed heads with long wands covered with soft hairs. Cuckoo leaves are evergreen and decorate the bed also outside the flowering period.

Besides, they don't like snails. Kukliki are worth associating with plants with similar preferences in terms of position, such as flowering flower, eagles, almonds, bluebells or dark-leaved cranberries. Kuklików should not be planted individually as they can easily disappear in the bed.When planted in a group, they will quickly show all their beauty.
