"If you want to be happy all your life - set up a garden." This is what the Chinese proverb says and I totally agree with it.
I grew up in the countryside and I still remember the taste of delicious fruit - apples, pears, cherries or plums from my parents' orchard. After many years, it was the longing for he althy fruit and green space that prompted us to buy a plot outside the city.
For several years, we arranged and built everything on the plot ourselves. This makes us very happy. My husband built a summer house, a fence, a brick grill, a flower rockery, a swing and a decorative garden well. I am responsible for the mini vegetable garden, flower arrangements, and fruit trees and bushes.I make preserves, jams and delicious liqueurs from the crops harvested in the season. From the beginning, my husband and I assumed that we would not use any chemicals. Our fruit and vegetables are therefore he althy, ecological and taste great all year round.
The garden is our great joy and pride. We constantly improve and embellish something in it, so that it is constantly enchanting and gives measurable crops.
I can assure you that even the best and most interesting holidays cannot be compared to resting on your own land.
