1. Use a spade to remove the turf, paying special attention to carefully selecting the remnants of the roots. Otherwise we won't get rid of the weeds.
2. We dig the ground with a spade to a depth of several centimeters. When shifting soil, pick stones and plant debris.
3. We spread a new substrate within the rebate. For this purpose, we can use soil for bedding plants (purchased in a garden shop) or mature compost produced in the garden.Spread about 5 liters of substrate per square meter.
4. Using a cultivator, rake the ground to break up the lumps and level the ground.
Before planting, place the containers with plants on the ground and check if this arrangement of plants suits us. Please make sure that the larger specimens do not drown out the smaller ones.
5.We place the pots.We rearrange them until we get a satisfactory arrangement.
6. The planting hole should be larger than the root ball of the planted plant. We plant it so that the plants will grow at the same depth as in the pot, press the root ball to the ground.
7. We water perennials abundantly, some even talk about flooding the substratea. This is to ensure the best possible contact of the roots with the soil.
8.Sprinkle bark bedding among the plants. Thanks to it, the soil will retain moisture longer, while being an effective protection against weeds.
Before planting, immerse the root ball in the water and hold it until the air bubbles stop rising to the surface. This will be a sign that the soil is properly irrigated. Note, regardless of how the plants are bathed, they must be watered abundantly after planting. With the next watering, wait for the substrate to dry well.
