My backyard garden is the result of over 20 years of work. I could count on the help of my family, thanks to which most of the elements were made by myself.
It all started with a small rockery on my 8 ares plot with fruit trees, so I encountered many difficulties in planning the space.
When creating a garden, apart from fruit trees, I focused on ornamental, perennial shrubs, such as lilies, tree peonies, lavender, roses, roots, cones and stones. There are also, among others, thujas, yews, barberries, tavulas, magnolias, rhodendrons, azaleas, hibiscus, forsythia and my favorite hydrangeas. In my garden, as well as vegetation, the climate is also created by garden sculptures, which we transfer to a nearby shed for the winter, so that they can enjoy the garden for as long as possible.
There are many paths, rockeries and a pond with a waterfall and a bridge. The easiest to obtain was the fieldstone, which we collected with the whole family everywhere in the area where it was possible, of course, the largest specimens were of course most enjoyable. Over the years, the garden has undergone several transformations, I am constantly changing something because I have new ideas all the time.
In recent years, nooks with Japanese, Greek, Egyptian and Wild West motifs have been created in the garden. The Japanese garden includes bonzai trees, buddha figurines, pagodas, stones, spring, bridge, palm maple, azaleas, grasses and lilies.
The greatest respect is aroused by a large stone lizard basking in the heart of the garden, as well as a fairy-tale corner with dwarfs for whom the houses were made of stumps.
Among the trees, we have created a place for family relaxation, there is a gazebo, a brick barbecue and a swing.
