April in the garden

Table of contents

ONE-YEAR PLANTS

In April, we sow the seeds of annual plants permanently (this applies to species that form a pile root system and do not bear transplanting). The lowest of them, 15-30 cm high, can be used to create borders along passages, paths or around the lawn. These are: seaside smagliczka, bitter and whorl dress, spotted nemophilia, dispersed sanvitalia, Californian eruption. The seeds of black cumin, delphiniums, phacelia, cornflowers, leaflets, large-flowered goddesses, marigolds, sunflower seeds, red reseda are sown on flower beds.

WE REJUVENATE DISCOUNTS

April is a good month to rejuvenate and enlarge perennial beds and to divide and replant these perennials that bloom in summer and autumn. Perennials are most often reproduced by dividing their clumps. We will perform this procedure on autumn asters, yarrow kichawcu, virginia mite. Perennials with a strongly developed root system, such as tawułki, daylily, funkia, paniculate flame, rudbeckia, bedbug, yucca, goldenrod, we will have to divide with a sharp spade. Root cuttings can be used to propagate Japanese anemone, mountain cornflower, and eastern poppy.
