Soil reaction
After harvest, check the soil pH on the plot using commercially available acid meters (pH meters). If the pH is too low, the garden should be limeed.
Before sowing the grass
September is the time of lawn sowing. Before sowing, the position should be weeded, using the total herbicide Roundup.
Removing rotten vegetables
Root vegetables with rot symptoms should be removed from the storage area. The same should be done with potato tubers.
Before the frosts come
We remove old and diseased bushes and trees. We protect plants against the upcoming frosts.
Apple spraying
After harvesting the apples, spray the trees with a 5% urea solution to reduce the risk of scab infection in the next year.
