We encourage you:take actions that will help us learn not to create unnecessary waste and we will become more and more responsible consumers , and consequently we will not clutter consume and destroy the environment. This will be put into practice with the Zero Waste philosophy.
Initiate cleaning where it needs to be cleaned , but also search for contaminated areas and report their locations to your municipal offices.
And the third thing, as important as littering and cleaning: changing our individual habits, as well as changing the procedures in institutions and companies to be more environmentally friendly (e.g. resignation from disposable plastics). Also, ask the candidates in this year's parliamentary elections about their approach to solving the biggest environmental problems - after all, they will be the ones who will legislate in our country and influence the state's environmental policy.
Let the candidates to the parliament feel and know that we, voters and citizens, are very interested in Poland doing well in counteracting litter, waste management, climate change, protection of water resources, protection of forests and wetlands, with production of clean energy and that it becomes more and more resource-efficient and energy-efficient … It is also a very important and necessary, and may it be a real good change -says Mira Stanisławska-Meysztowicz, the initiator of the Action and founder of the Our Earth Foundation.
"-Education is also very important, so we encourage you to promote non-littering. Perhaps, for example, popularizing reusable products or a local campaign promoting the use of reusable bags? I invite you to clean up environmentally and culturally valuable public areas, to actions, competitions and festivals promoting waste segregation. Knowing the inventiveness and consistency of the Action participants - it will surely happen. "
