Every corner of our plot has been developed in a thoughtful way. We made irregular discounts from the vegetable beds. Decorative shrubs have settled down next to the pond, and the rockery has grown up on the site of the former square.
Husband Zdzisław is an avid DIY enthusiast. He deals with small architecture on the plot. She makes beautiful wooden ornaments with passion.
In front of the plot there is an old, dignified windmill. Next to it, my husband built a wooden well with a fairy-tale roof. Among the fruit trees, we have to place bird feeders. Our guests are particularly delighted with the roe deer, which Zdzisław carved so beautifully from one branch. In the corner of the plot there is a small woodshed, grill and a pond.In the future it will be connected by a stream with a second, much larger mesh.
I am most proud of the rest corner. My husband made the bridge, benches and pergolas himself. A gazebo also emerged from his hand.
However, the real hit of this charming place is a real wooden locomotive with a cart! Zdzisław made this construction for our grandchildren. The car is made of wood, and inside there is… a sandbox. Larch boards were needed to build the locomotive. First, a wooden structure made of piles was erected in the garden. Then Zdzisław reinforced the foundation of the building with boards. Finally, he boarded the locomotive and painted it green and brown. Thanks to this, our grandchildren train fits well with the vegetation growing in the garden kingdom.
On our plot, I take care of the vegetation. I have a large collection of beautiful dahlias and phloxes. I rooted most of the plants and shrubs myself.
