When to spray raspberries
Raspberry spraying should be started in the period of bud swellingand finished after flowering. In the case of raspberries bearing fruit on two-year-old shoots, i.e. summer raspberries,spraying also after fruit harvest .
Most recommended raspberry spraying is donebefore the first symptoms of diseases and pests appear. This brings much better results than intervention spraying, performed only after the disease or pest is noticed.
Raspberry spraying is performed at certain stages of the development of the bush , i.e. in the so-called phenological periods. These periods may fall on different dates each year, depending on the prevailing weather conditions.

Remember that the cultivation of raspberries plays an extremely important role such as pruning raspberries, removing infected shoots and weeding. They affect the quality of the fruit and allow you to reduce the number of spraying.
What to spray raspberries with?
Raspberries can be sprayedwith chemical pesticides or natural preparations (ready-made, which can be purchased in garden shops or with self-prepared liquid manure, extracts and decoctions). In amateur crops in gardens, we recommenduse as few chemicals as possible, adhering to natural methods of fighting raspberry diseases and pests
The most common diseases that attack raspberriesare raspberry rust, raspberry shoot dieback and gray mold. We will protect raspberries against these diseases by spraying with such preparations as: Signum 33WG and Magnicur Gold. In the case of powdery mildew on raspberry, you can use Siarkol 800SC.
